NeutraPFAS supports ICPE and Seveso site operators in bringing their PFAS-contaminated installations into compliance. Diagnostics, treatment and certification.
PFAS-based AFFF foams protected lives for decades. Today they represent a major regulatory, health and financial risk for site operators.
PFAS are classified as probable carcinogens. They do not break down and accumulate in the body. Contamination reaches drinking water, soils and the food chain.
February 2025 law: France requires a complete halt of PFAS discharges within 5 years. ICPE and Seveso operators are on the front line of remediation obligations.
Penalties, DREAL formal notices, and late-remediation costs running into millions of euros. Replacing equipment also requires decontamination before recycling.
From the initial audit to post-treatment monitoring, we cover the entire decontamination cycle of your installations.
Sampling, analysis in a COFRAC-accredited laboratory, contamination mapping and a report with a prioritised action plan.
AuditIn-situ treatment of your sprinklers, tanks and pipework. A PFAS neutralisation process that does not damage your installations.
Field workManagement of contaminated rinse water. Zero discharge to the environment. Full traceability and waste tracking forms.
EffluentsSupport towards fire-fighting foams and substitute materials compliant with the new standards and regulations.
SubstitutionPreparation of DREAL and ARS files. Certified compliance reports. Advice on PFAS-related ICPE and Seveso obligations.
RegulationsLong-term monitoring programme: periodic analyses, tracking of residual concentrations, treatment durability reports.
MonitoringEvery intervention follows a certified process to guarantee treatment effectiveness and your compliance.
Installation assessment, AFFF history, risk areas
Network inspection, sampling, COFRAC analyses
Schedule, technical resources, concentration targets
Mobile unit, tank and pipework decontamination

The February 2025 PFAS law (decree No. 2026-545) introduces a polluter-pays levy: €100 per 100 g of PFAS discharged, in force since 1 September 2026. Good news: an 80% reduction applies to industrial operators who treat their water — decontamination becomes economically rational.

Any fire network contaminated with PFAS (pipework, tanks, valves, fittings) must be fully decontaminated before being sent to a scrap metal recycling stream. This obligation applies to all classified installations (ICPE/Seveso).
Consequence: Replacing a fire network does not exempt you from the decontamination obligation. Even in the event of complete dismantling, contaminated materials cannot be sent directly to recycling without prior compliant PFAS treatment.
Are you an ICPE/Seveso operator who must launch a tender for the PFAS decontamination of your fire networks? NeutraPFAS provides independent technical expertise to frame, draft and evaluate your consultations — with no conflict of interest with maintenance contractors.
Most industrial site operators entrust the drafting of their PFAS specifications to their fire safety maintenance contractor. Yet this contractor is often judge and party: they draft the requirement they will carry out themselves. NeutraPFAS offers a strategic alternative: an independent technical and regulatory audit to secure your investments.
No commercial ties with installers or maintainers. Our only interest: the technical quality and compliance of your file.
Without independent expertise, contractors tend to oversize interventions. An objective audit can reduce your costs by 20 to 40%.
DREAL/ICPE/Seveso obligations change fast. A poorly calibrated specification exposes the operator to formal notices, even after intervention.
Concentration thresholds, COFRAC analytical methods, rinsing protocols, effluent management: every technical detail affects the final result.
A well-drafted tender enables genuine competition between contractors and informed negotiation on cost items.
The audit report constitutes proof of due diligence in the event of a DREAL inspection or environmental litigation.
From a quick audit to full management of your tender, NeutraPFAS adapts to your project's maturity and your schedule constraints.
Rapid assessment of your PFAS situation to decide on the strategy to adopt. Ideal at an early stage or to confirm a regulatory emergency.
In-depth technical audit with sampling and full drafting of the Particular Technical Specifications for your tender.
End-to-end support: from the initial audit to selecting the contractor and monitoring the proper execution of the decontamination.
A proven methodology to guarantee the quality and rigour of every consulting mission.

Any industrial site operator with a fire protection network that has used PFAS-based AFFF foams is potentially concerned. The audit is particularly recommended in the following situations:
Your fire safety maintenance contract is coming to an end and you must relaunch a consultation that includes the PFAS issue.
You have received a letter from the inspectorate and must demonstrate a credible action plan for the PFAS decontamination of your installations.
You are planning to replace your fire network and must decontaminate the old one before recycling (DREAL obligation).
You are considering acquiring an industrial site and need to assess the PFAS environmental liability linked to the fire network.
Upload your analysis reports here. NeutraPFAS turns your figures into a clear summary: what is compliant, what is not, and what your options are. Reviewed and validated by an expert before being delivered to you.
Upload my analyses →Tables of 20 PFAS, ng/L, µg/L, partial sums… The COFRAC report is unreadable for a non-specialist. That's normal.
Your fire maintainer interprets its own results. Are you sure it compares against the right thresholds? That it includes the 4 priority PFAS?
You have received a letter from the inspectorate or you are preparing a compliance file. You need an independent reading, now.
This tool is designed for everyone holding a PFAS analysis report who needs to see clearly.
